When both of our middle schools were renovated in 2017, we added five private change stations within each dressing room that are available to all students. All students also have more options to change in a private location separately from Locker Room,
The district also said it will work with local families to determine the next step.
“The district and the board are united with our leaders and teachers on this issue and have a common obligation to maintain the law,” the declaration continued.
“The District and the Board of Directors encourage all those who express concerns or perspectives on this question with our staff and teachers to do so in a respectful and civil manner. We are happy to work with families to tackle all individual concerns and determine appropriate next step to support your child’s well -being and participation.”
