With all the new Netflix movies to watch each month, sometimes everything you need a nostalgic flick to bring back some fond memories. So when I learned that James Gunn-written live-action adaptation SCOOBY-DOO Leaving Netflix on February 28, I had to revise this scandalously fun cult classic.
Ahead of his success with Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy and Suicide SquadCEO of DC Studios wrote two iconic films based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon SCOOBY-DOO.
When the movie was released in 2002, it was met with largely negative reviews, the one who shocked me in particular was from The Guardian, who paid tribute to the film as “incredible lead” and “inexhaustently boring.” Honestly I do not stand for this kind Bakery, because while it’s not one of the best Netflix movies and suffers from a 32% rotten tomatoes score, it’s still incredibly fun and entertaining.

The first SCOOBY-DOO Film shoots a start -up role crew in a story that feels true to the animated series. In it, Mystery Inc. consists of. -Band by Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne Blake, Freddie Prinze Jr. Like Fred Jones, Linda Cardellini as Velma Dinkley, Neil Fanning as Scooby and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers – a role he was born to play, I can add and one he still repeats himself in several animated SCOOBY-DOO Series now.
SCOOBY-DOO Looks the Mystery Inc. gang individually invited to investigate strange events in an eerie amusement park, two years after a bitter collapse. The herd must be reunited to solve what possesses college students staying at Spooky Island.
With its timeless fake humor and slapstick -comedy, SCOOBY-DOO Movies became a smash hit still quoted and remembered today by people the right age. So it was only right to produce a successor two years later with SCOOBY-DOO 2: Monsters are loosened, Which also leaves Netflix on the same day.
IN SCOOBY-DOO 2: Monsters are loosened, Mystery Inc. Must save Coolsville when an evil masked figure brings life to all the old monsters, the vulnerable in an attempt to destroy their reputation. The second movie was also greeted with a bad critical reception and we never got a third SCOOBY-DOO film.
While I mourn over the loss of a potential trilogy, SCOOBY-DOO Movies are still a smart takeover of the history of the franchise and remains a fun crime solution comedy -kaper with its perfect casting and smart references to adult humor.
One thing that is safe is it SCOOBY-DOO Evidence that not everything should have modern style or rich fabric to be a good movie-some times is all you need some real laughter-high gags.
So if you’re looking for some casual entertainment and a movie that doesn’t take itself seriously, definitely have to see SCOOBY-DOO Before it leaves the best streaming service.
