Scottie Scheffler is either the ultimate troll or this was a pure coincidence.
In any case, the Two-Time Masters Champion’s Outfit was given at Quail Hollow Golf Club on Wednesday a certain reaction to social media.
Scheffler is the favorite to go home this year’s PGA championship at the famous Charlotte Course, and on Saturday marks a year since he was arrested on his way to the tournament when it was at Valhalla.

Scheffler’s mug, where he carried an orange jumpsuit, quickly went viral. He was released and came to his tee time and shoots a 66. The Xander Schaugele took the Wanamaker trophy home.
In his last round of exercise before this year’s tournament, Scheffler wore a color similar to the jumpsuit he wore this time last year.
“I freaked out because I somehow went from driving to the golf course to a prison cell, and I still don’t really know how it happened exactly. I didn’t think it really ever felt right,” Scheffler told the producers of the third season of “Full Swing.”

Scheffler attended the University of Texas. So maybe he just resumed Longhorns. Or again pure coincidence.
The incident took place after a deadly accident outside the Louisville track. Scheffler tried to get to the clubhouse before officers stopped him.
Scheffler was facing four charges, including the assault of a police officer. Less than two weeks later, all charges against Scheffler were put on, and he called it a “great misunderstanding.”
“I spent some time stretching in a prison cell. It was a first for me,” Scheffler joked after his round the day of his arrest.

The PGA championship goes out on Thursday and Scheffler plays with Schauffele and Rory McIlroy. They are the three best players in the world and have won four of the last five majors.
