Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Federal Litigation is approaching the final verdict as jury leader keeps one out of five judgments.
After 12 hours long discussion, the jury has reached a sentence of four of the five charges, including sex trade and transport of someone for prostitution. But they remain split on racketing.
Per. NBC News, The jury informed US district judge Aran Subramanian on July 1 that they were unable to reach a joint statement about the racketing that was because of “undeveloped views.”
In order for the rapper to be found guilty of racketing, jurist must believe that there was a spoken or unspoken agreement between at least two persons to commit crimes and that combs deliberately participated.
The verdict on the four charges has not yet been read. The court resumes on July 2nd.
Combs has been facing several litigation since November 2023, when Cassie Ventura accused him of sexual assault. This case was settled one day later, but several prosecutors have emerged since.
