Search for Family of Ex-MLB Pitcher Tyler Walker continues after Texas floods

More family members to earlier MLB Relief -pitcher Tyler Walker continues to be missed on Tuesday as the death toll surpassed 100 after the devastating flood that took place in central Texas during the fourth July weekend.

Mark Walker, 51, his wife Sara, 50, and their 14-year-old son, Johnny, has been reported missing after vacation at a riverhouse in Hunt, Texas, along the Guadalupe River, which was destroyed by Kerr County Flood on Friday, San Francisco Chronicle reported, quotes family.

Mark is the older brother of earlier San Francisco Giants Reliever Tyler Walker.

“I’m sick of my stomach,” Kathy Walker, mother of Mark and Tyler told the business. “It’s a terrible feeling because you’re helpless here.”

Kathy told San Francisco Chronicle that she last spoke to Mark on Thursday. The couple’s 16-year-old daughter, Ellie, attended Camp at Camp Waldemar and has since been found safely.

According to the report, Tyler and his wife traveled to Texas To be with their niese.

Tyler Walker played eight seasons in the big leagues and spent most of that time with Giants. He drafted a 23-18 record, 4.23 ERA, 34 savings and 243 strikes.

Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said Tuesday, “From 08.00, 87 deceased has been recovered in Kerr County, including 56 adults and 30 children.” He added that identification is still pending for 19 adults and seven children.
