Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kacchi district on Sunday, which led to the elimination of 27 terrorists.

The operation was launched after intelligence services indicated the presence of militants in the area, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces quickly surrounded and engaged the hideouts of the terrorists.

After an intense exchange of fire, the forces neutralized the terrorists. The operation also resulted in the destruction of several militant hideouts along with large caches of arms, ammunition and explosives.

The terrorists eliminated in the operation were responsible for several attacks on security forces and civilians and were on the most wanted list of law enforcement.

The ISPR stressed that the militants had been involved in destabilizing efforts across the region, which has contributed to the continued violence in the area.

The military’s statement reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan, stressing that security forces will continue to confront any attempt to undermine the region’s progress.
