Operation conducted following credible reports of presence of terrorists associated with proxy group ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’
On January 12, security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Monday. The operation was conducted following credible reports of the presence of terrorists associated with the Indian proxy group ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralized after an intense exchange of fire, while arms and ammunition were recovered from the spot. The eliminated terrorists had been involved in several acts of terrorism in the region, it added.
The ISPR further reported that clearance operations are underway to ensure that no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remain in the area.
The military’s media wing stressed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign, carried out under the vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ and endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full speed.
