Two soldiers, including a major, were martyrated, while 11 Indian sponsored terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan’s Sararogha area on Tuesday, reported the military’s media wing.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was performed after confirmed reports of the presence of Khwarij, which belonged to the Indian proxy, Fitna Al Khwarij.
Troops effectively engaged the terrorist’s hiding place, resulting in the killing of eleven terrorist and injuries to seven others, the statement states.

During the intense exchange of fire, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, 37, a resident of Chakwal, and Lance Naik Jibran Ullah, 27, from Bannu, embraced martyrdom. Major Moiz led the operation and had gained a reputation for his courage in previous terrorist surgery, ISPR said.
It added that a sanitization operation is ongoing in the area to eliminate remaining threats.
The military repeated its commitment to removing terrorism from the country and said, “Such victims of our brave men only strengthen our decision to eradicate the threat of terrorism, especially those supported from abroad.”
