Rawalpindi:
Security forces killed at least 33 terrorists trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Sambaza, Zhob district in Balochistan, Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release Friday.
The movement of a large group of terrorists, identified as Khawarij and belonging to the Indian Proxy group Fitna Al Khawarij, was detected on the night of August 7-8 in Sambaza, Zhob district, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, the statement states.
The night 7/8 August 2025 was the movement of a large group of Khwarij, which belonged to the Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwaraj, who tried to infiltrate through the border between Pakistan-Afghanistan, of the security forces in the ordinary Sambaza, Zhob district in Balochistan.

Security forces quickly discovered their movement, engaged the group, and “prevented the Indian sponsored terrorists’ attempts to infiltrate,” Ice APR added.
The military also reported to recover a large amount of weapons, ammunition and explosives from the site.
ISPR reiterated that security forces remain decisive and unwavering in their obligation to defend the nation’s borders and eradicate the threat of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expanded his tribute to the security forces for their successful efforts to avert an infiltration attempt from terrorists attached to Fitna Al-Khawarij, who tried to enter Pakistan from the Pak-Agre-District border in the Zhob district.
In a statement, the prime minister praised the forces for removing 33 terrorists during surgery. “The brave staff of the security forces risked their lives to avert the terrorists’ infiltration trials and foil their dishonest designs,” he said.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the country’s support for the security forces. “The whole nation stands with security forces in their fight against terrorism,” he added.
The prime minister also repeated his commitment to completely removing all forms of terrorism from the country and emphasized the government’s willingness to maintain peace and security.
