Security sources reject Indian Media’s F-16 claim as ‘fake news’

Security sources have categorically rejected Indian media reports claiming that a Pakistan Air Force F-16 fighter jet was shot down and called the story “an obvious lie and fake news.”

According to the sources, India has become more and more disoriented after the failure of its recent Harop -DRONE penetration. They claim that repeated setbacks have left Indian decision makers “paralyzed and confused.”

“In a state of panic,” the sources claim, “India is now trying to justify potential future aggression against Pakistan by producing stories of attacks in Rajasthan, Pathankot and Indian -occupied Kashmir.”

The Pakistan armed forces, they claim, are fully prepared to counter all hostile designs and remain vigilant against “India’s dishonest intentions.”

Observers notice a striking resemblance between the current disinformation campaign and India’s disputed tale after aerial screaming from 2019 during Operation Swift Retort.

At that time, Pakistan shot two Indian fighter jets in response to Indian air strikes in Balakot. India, however, claimed that one of its pilots, wing commander Abhinandan Vardhaman-as was caught after pushing out of his reduced Mi-21-had managed to shoot down a Pakistani F-16 before his own plane was brought down.

Pakistan denied the F-16 requirement. Later that year, Foreign Policy Magazine quoted US defense officials who had accounted for all Pakistani F-16s and found no lack of against India’s claim.

Following the report, the then military spokesman stated: “India’s claims of the attack and its consequences are false. It’s time for India told the truth about the loss of his second jet -shot down by Pakistan.”

Despite the lack of independent verification, India’s President Ram Nath Kovind awarded the wing commander Abhinandan The Vir Chakra India’s third highest wartime military honor to ‘diminish’ a Pakistani F-16.

Pakistan maintains his attitude that two Indian jets were shot down in 2019 and that no PAF F-16 was lost in the exchange.
