Sega was the highest ranked publisher in 2024 according to Metacritic’s annual location.
Another year of video game releases has passed by, and with the Metacritics 15. Annual publishing position has been officially released, which reveals Sega as the winner with a score of 325.5 points.
Sega is the first publisher to achieve Metacritic’s first place traiting three times, the first in 2016, followed by 2021, and it is all thanks to the several critically acclaimed role -playing games (RPG) releases we saw in 2024.
These include the award -winning Metaphor: Refantazio from Persona Develops atlas, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeancewhich also got a nintendo switch -launch, and As a dragon: Infinite wealth.
Though Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba- sweeps the Board of Directors Did not kick like Segas other titles, the publisher still knocked out like Sony, who had a good year with the release of Game of the Year winner Astro bot and several PC gates.
For Metacritics 2023 location, Capcom was crowned the highest ranked publisher, but this year it falls behind Sega in second place with only a few points despite the successful launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
With Monster Hunter Wilds By making waves in its first release week it exceeded just 8 million devices sold, Capcom has the potential to see a similar location or higher next year.
