Selma Blair recently shared her health update after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
For those unaware, the 53-year-old American actress has suffered from multiple sclerosis for more than seven years.
On Saturday 22 November, she sat down Stellar and revealed that she has lived relapse-free for a “few years” and how grateful she is that her condition is stable.
Blair expressed his feelings, saying, “Obviously, it means the world to me that I’m not accumulating more damage in my brain at this moment. I’ve also made a lot of progress with the mood of neuroplasticity.”
“I’m very, very lucky. Everyone’s experience with MS is different. I think I have a certain place [to speak publicly]. My big mouth likes to see what I can do about stigma,” it Legally blonde star noted.
According to the Mayo Clinic, multiple sclerosis “is a disease that causes the breakdown of the protective covering of nerves. Multiple sclerosis can cause numbness, weakness, trouble walking, vision changes, and other symptoms.”
