Senior lawyers have challenged the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) management, accusing it of issuing a misleading press release regarding proposed changes to the bar rules and announcing protests if elections are held through a biometric system.
The lawyers said during a press conference that a general meeting was held at the High Court on January 22, where a resolution seeking changes to the rules of the bar was presented but rejected by the majority of the members.
