A senior Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader and self-styled Defense Minister, Qari Amjid alias Mufti Muzahim, has been killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Bajaur district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, sources confirmed on Thursday.
The Khorasan Diary it wrote X that Amjid, a key figure within the terror group, was killed early in the morning during the security operation.

Amjid had previously held several senior positions in the TTP, serving as the group’s deputy chief, shadow defense minister and a member of its leadership council.
He was designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the US State Department in November 2022 for his role in militant activities and leadership within the illegal organization, Khorasan diary quoted.
