Special gatherings, including Koranic recitations, sermons and prayers, are held in mosques and religious institutions to mark the apartment. Scientists and clergy provide sermons that highlight the meaning of the night, which is considered a time to seek divine mercy and forgiveness.

Many devotees spend the night in worship, recite the Holy Qur’an and Darood Sharif and offer Nawafil beans. Mosques remain enlightened as the faithful seeking Allah’s blessings for prosperity and well -being.

According to Islamic tradition, Shab-E-Barat falls between the 14th and 15th of Shaban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. It is believed to be an evening when fates for the coming year are determined.

Many Muslims visit cemeteries to offer prayers for their departed loved ones. The fasting the day after Shab-e-Barat is also observed as a devotion, with believers seeking spiritual purification and divine blessings.

The authorities have made special schemes to ensure security around mosques, cemeteries and shrines where large congregations take place.
