Karachi:
A police officer named Taqdeer Azam Afridi, who has been nominated in the murder case of prominent lawyer Khawaja Shamsul Islam Advocate, released a video statement that claimed his innocence and called the case baseless and a result of personal enemy.
Afridi claims that CCTV recordings show another person who fires the shots that he identifies as the real guilty. He claims that the spruce names seven members of his family, whom all he insists are innocent.
In his statement, he also revealed that the well -known Cricketer Shahid Afridi had tried to mediate between Islam and Imran Afridi, resulting in a solution on March 20, 2025. According to this Agreement, Islam agreed to accept blood money (DIYAT) and draw a case filed by Imran Afridi’s father. Despite this, Afridi claims that Islam continued to pursue litigation against his family.
