Karachi:

Sindh senior minister Sharieel Inam Memon has said that the alliance between Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Tehreek-In-Insaf (PTI) has become evident as both parties who once contested election against each other are now united on the assembly floor.

In a speech with the media at Sindh Assembly’s Media Corner, Memon noticed that this alliance could send a new political message, but it has no consequence for Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). “MQM’s policy is well known – it has consistently avoided the choice of local government because of its lack of public support,” he said.

MEMON claimed that the people of Sindh have always given their mandate to PPP. He claimed that PPP had eradicated the policy of violence, body bags, extortion and forced animal skin collections from Karachi. When he commented on MQM’s recent behavior in the provincial assembly, he said it came from a sense of political irrelevans.

With reference to the opposition’s Walkout, Memon said, “The drama, staged on the pretext of condemning the attack on Iran, has been postponed. The minister began his speech by strongly condemning the Feige attack on Iran, yet the opposition still chose to play politics.”
