The educational boards in Sindh, awaiting appointments of full -time chairmen for several years, are likely to continue to function according to the preliminary heads, as Sindh High Court has resided the recent appointments of eight chairmen of the boards.
The Hyderabad Circuit Bench on Tuesday put the respondents, including the Sindh government through the chief secretary, Sindh Universities and Boards Department and the search committee in addition to the eight chairmen, with regard to March 26.
“Until the said date, the summary of the subject is not on to the suffering of the petries,” the order reads.
The petitions Abdul Jabbar Abbassi and Sikandar Ali Mirjat were candidates in the recruitment process. The former is an associate professor who teaches English, based in Hyderabad, and the latter is chairman of the board of directors of middle and secondary education, Larkana.
A summary was moved with these eight names in addition to one of Brig Syed Waseem Akhtar, to Sindh -Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on February 3rd. But Akhtar’s name in the shortlisted candidates stirring a reaction in the province because of his residence in another province, causing him to pull his candidate.
“This is another case that demonstrates that the recruitment process is a cheat and based on nepotism and ranges from Mala Fides,” the petitions claimed.
CM approved on March 1 the eight names as recommended by the search committee for the appointment.
The two petitioners are related to their case about the claim that the search committee, which completed the recruitment, acted out of its purpose because its domain is limited to the appointments of the university university universities.
Another argument, pleaded by Bise Larkana President Mirjat, quoted that none of the eight chairmen had previous experience working in the educational board in Sindh.
He claimed that all board employees with relevant work experience were ignored in the appointment process in violation of the court decision. He recalled that the secretary boards and universities had provided verbal insurance in SHC on December 13, 2024, where he said, “In cases where candidates with equal qualifications are available, preference will be given to those with experience working within the department.”
The petitioner pointed out that the same statement was made part of the judge’s order, but the government’s respondents allegedly ended up flowing this order.
There are seven educational and a technical boards in the province. The eight names recommended for the posts of the chairmen include Dr. Asif Ali Memon, Ghulam Hussain Soho, Mansoor Rajput, Muhammad Misbah Tunio, Musharraf Ali Rajput, Dr. Rafiq Ahmed Chandio, Khalid Hussain Mahar and Dr Zahid Ali Channar. They secured 56 to 59.4 scores in the recruitment process.
Posts for President of the Bisians from Hyderabad, Succo, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah, as well as the secondary and higher education boards in Karachi and Sindh Board of Technical Education, were announced in December 2023. As swallowing.
