The son of an Atlanta Falcons coach owned up for a prank prompt to shoot Sanders during the NFL draft as Quarterback slipped from a first round of projection to the fifth round.
Jax Ulbrich, son of Falcon’s defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, published a statement on his Instagram account where he apologized for former Colorado Buffaloes star.

“Friday night I made a huge mistake,” the post read. “Sheath watch, what I did was completely unforgivable, embarrassing and shameful. I’m so sorry that I took away from your moment, it was childish and selfish.
“I could never imagine being ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life, and I made a terrible mistake and messed up with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
The NFL confirmed to Pakinomist Digital earlier on Sunday that the league had launched a probe in the call.
Falcons said Jax Ulbrich had written the phone number down from an iPad that had been left out in the open air in his parents’ house.
“Earlier this week, Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, came unintentionally across the draft contact phone number to shooting Sanders from an open iPad while visiting his parents’ home and writing the number down to make a prank call later.” The team didn’t say, “the team said.

“Atlanta Falcon’s condolences this behavior and sends our sincere excuses to shooting Sanders and his family, with whom we have been in contact to apologize, as well as facilitating an apology directly from the Jax to the Sanders family.

“We have also been in contact with the NFL and will continue to cooperate fully with all investigations we may receive from the NFL League office. We thoroughly review all protocols and update if necessary to help prevent an incident like this from happening again.”
Sanders was exposed to at least two prank calls during the draft.
Browns eventually chose Sanders with the No. 144 gathered election of the draft.
“It didn’t really have an impact on me because it was like, I mean, ok, as if I’m not feeding negativity or I don’t feed it.” Sanders told Cleveland Media about Prank Call via ESPN. “You’ve looked at Deion [Sanders] JR’s YouTube video. My reaction to that, I don’t – that’s what it is. I think, of course, it’s childish. Of course, I feel like it was a childish act, but everyone does childish things here and there. “

Sanders’ new head coach Kevin Stefanski said “people are morons” when asked about the prank call.
