Karachi: Police have made major breakthroughs in the Mustafa resort and the murder case, restored the weapon of the murder and secured a cool confession from the most important suspect, Armaghan.

According to investigative officials, the primary suspect, who is currently with the police in physical custody, revealed upset details of how he brutally tortured and later burned Mustafa alive.

During the interrogation, Armaghan said that on January 6, he called the victim and Shiraz Bukhari – the second suspect alias Shavez – to his bungalow, where he launched an evil attack on Mustafa with the help of an iron bar to beat him for two hours.

Investigators confirmed that the rod was later regained from the guard space in Armaghan’s house in the Defense Khayaban-e momin. They said Mustafa sustained serious injuries with heavy bleeding from the head and knees.

The following are the details of Armaghan’s confession.

The primary suspect admitted that he was intoxicated at the time of the assault. He revealed that Shiraz, his accomplice, tried to stop him when Mustafa began to bleed too much. After the brutal Juling, however, both suspect Mustafa loaded into his own vehicle and drove towards Hub.

When he reached Hub, Armaghan opened the car’s trunk and discovered that Mustafa was still alive. Then he turned off him and the car in gasoline and challenged him to flee, knowing that his serious knee injuries had made him immobile. Despite Mustafa’s weak attempts to move, he was unable to escape. The suspect admitted that he then set Mustafa on fire.

Armaghan also revealed that Shiraz, immediately after igniting the flames, urged him to escape the stage. The two suspects then went back to Karachi by hitchhiking in different vehicles.

After Armaghan’s confession, the Karachi police attacked Hans Bungalow and picked up the iron bar used in the assault.

The investigation continues as law enforcement authorities are preparing to present Armaghan to the trial after the end of the physical custody ending tomorrow (Friday).

As the probe is underway, the police and investigative authorities have said that Armaghan’s monthly income could not be ascertained yet. It may be noted that the police had found a call center established in bungalowen, several laptops, security cameras, movement detectors, review gates and illegal weapons under the raid. Meanwhile, reports of Armaghan, which had more than 40 security guards, had also appeared.

The investigations revealed that the main suspect had run an outgoing call center to blame people in the United States by offering them domestic services and stealing their money through the fake business.

However, the total amount, whether in tens of thousands of millions or more he had made through the call center, could not be ascertained yet.

The investigations also revealed that Armaghan had already been booked in at least six cases, including offenses of violence and the anti-terrorism law. Following the confession and recovery of illegal weapons, new cases will be recorded against the main suspect.
