Simon Baker returns to the spotlight as Netflix adds The mentalist to his library.

The series follows Baker’s character Patrick Jane, a former fake psychic who gives up his old life after a serial killer murders his family.
Using her razor-sharp powers of observation, Jane joins the police to solve complex murder cases, mixing psychological insight with detective work.
Along with Baker, the cast includes Robin Tunney, Tim Kang, Owain Yeoman and Amanda Righetti.
Originally airing on CBS, the show ran for seven seasons and has remained a fan favorite, earning an audience score of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Netflix teased the show’s arrival with the tagline,
