Sindh Minister of Chief Murad Ali Shah invited Saudi companies to explore opportunities in agriculture, energy, infrastructure, logistics and industrial development, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
He invited the Saudi investors when a high-level Saudi delegation, led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud, president of Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council, met him to discuss investment opportunities in the province.
Saudi delegation included Ambassador Nawaf Bin Saeed Ahmad al-Malki and over 30 prominent business people and investors representing sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, livestock, mining, construction, logistics and finance.
The meeting held in Chief Minister House was attended by several key members of the Sindh Cabinet and representatives from the Pakistani Business Council, overseas investor chamber for trade and industry (OICCI) and the Saudi Embassy.

Shah welcomed the delegation and recognized the long-standing and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He expressed Sindh’s readiness to act as a gateway for Pakistan’s economic development and emphasized his government’s obligation to promote a reform -driven, investor -friendly environment.
Shah highlighted the key development, pointing to the digitization of land registers and streamlining of investment procedures as part of the province’s broader economic reforms.
“Our partnership with Saudi Arabia is crucial to the region’s economic future,” he said, confirming Sindh’s adaptation to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
He specifically highlighted strategic projects such as Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorvej, Karachi’s Blue and Yellow Line Transit Systems, Fisheries and Livestock Business and Establishment of Special Economic Zones. Both sides agreed to establish joint working groups across different sectors to ensure sustained cooperation.
Shah emphasized close coordination with federal units, including the Ministry of Investment, SIFC and the Trade Development Authority in Pakistan, to provide extensive support to foreign investors from the project’s feasibility to execution.
When he spoke on the occasion, Prince Mansour expressed bin Mohammed al Saud gratitude for the warm reception and confirmed Saudi Arabia’s obligation to strengthen economic ties.
He announced the formation of the sector under committee to initiate investment projects and noted Karachi’s strategic significance as a port city with enormous investment potential.
Shah assured full support for Saudi investors and reiterated that the Sindh government has opened its doors for international investments and promised full cooperation to facilitate their ventures.
