Leaders of the Grand Health Alliance, which includes Pakistan Medical Association, Young Doctors Association, Young Nurses Association, Allied Health Professionals Association Sindh, Sindh Paramedical Staff, Young Paramedics and Sindh Employees Alliance, said the strike will affect all updates and administrative offices where only emergency services remain in operation.

The decision was made during a GHA meeting at Karachi’s Civil Hospital, participated by several senior people, including Sindh employees alliance -President Haji Muhammad Ashraf Khaskheli.

The Union leaders emphasized that the boycott was not a political step, but an attempt to secure long -term rights to the government’s health workers. “This action was taken for the approval of legitimate requirements,” they said, warning that the shutdown would continue until the government is taking “concrete and positive steps.”

They also promised that employees across Sindh’s government hospitals were united on a single platform and would not hesitate to sacrifice for their rights.
