The Sindh Government has introduced ยง 144 throughout the province and forbidden Pillion, which ran on the 9th and 10th of Muharram, according to an official notification issued on Wednesday.
The decision is part of security measures in the Muharram month, aiming to maintain law and order during processions and religious gatherings, Express News reported.
According to the announcement, children under the age of 12, older persons and journalists will be exempt from the Pillion ban. The berry of licensed weapons is also prohibited and all weapons positions will remain suspended throughout the province.
The department has further banned the use of drone cameras from 1 to 10. By Muharram and excluded organization of rallies or gatherings without the prior permission of the authorities.
