Sindh -ministers soothe the public as the flood threat is velted over sindh

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh government ministers expressed compassion for concerned families affected by Punjab flooding on Thursday, and hailed the courage of civilian volunteers throughout the province.

With regard to Sindh facing flood threats as the water level increases, the provincial government maintained that the provincial government closely monitors the situation.

“Pakistani Peoples Party workers and office carriers should come forward and play their role in helping the people affected by the flood in this difficult time,” Bilawal said in a statement. “This is the time that the nation that sets out any kind of division must unite to meet the crisis.”

Separately, by tackling a press conference in Karachi, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the chief minister has created a surveillance cell.

Guddu sees outflow of 300,323 CUSERCS, while Kotri sees 240,000 CUSERCS, according to Memon.

He insisted that this year would not be a repeat of 2010. Instructions have been given to all elected representatives to stay in their constituencies, and the relief efforts have already started, he said, adding that the Sindh government has arranged all facilities, including tents, Jerry-Cans and Mosquito tents.

Memon said three provinces have adopted a decision on dams. However, he added that these are natural disasters that cannot be avoided.
