Sindh School Education Department has announced changes in the annual matric and middle survey plan due to Ramadan.
According to the revised schedule, the annual exams for students from 9th and 10th grade are now held from April 7 to April 25 after Eid-Ul-Fitr. Meanwhile, practical exams take place from March 10 in schools throughout the province, including Karachi.
Originally, the matrix tests were scheduled to begin on March 15, but were re -planned in view of Ramadan. Likewise, the intermediate (1st year and 2nd year) begins exams that were originally to start on April 15, now on April 28.
This decision was completed at a meeting of the Governing Committee’s subcommittee. Authorities emphasized that the change is aiming to ensure a smoother examination process during the holy month that meets the students’ schedules.
The new schedule has been communicated to all relevant educational institutions and students are advised to prepare accordingly.
Previously, Punjab Education Department has announced revised times for schools throughout the province of the Holy Month Ramadan.
According to the message issued by the department, double shift schools will operate from 8:30 to 12:30 to the first shift.
The second shift runs from 13:00 to 16:00, while the timings on Fridays will be adjusted to 14:30 to 17:00.
The revised timings aim to accommodate students and staff under Ramadan while ensuring that educational activities continue smoothly.
