Singapore lifts $ 50,000 to Pakistan’s flood victim

On Friday, Singapore promised $ 50,000 humanitarian assistance to the victims of flash flooding in Pakistan, the Associated Press of Pakistan (app) reported.

“The Singapore government will contribute $ 50,000 as seed money to support Singapore Red Cross (SRC )’s public fundraising efforts on the humanitarian crisis caused by floods in Pakistan,” Singapore Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Singapore Government’s contribution will supplement SRC’s promise of $ 50,000 to support the immediate needs of affected communities, added it. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore also conveyed deepest compassion to the families of the victims of the floods.
