A six-month-old infant has tested positively for the polio virus in a village in the Ghora Bari area of ​​the Thatta district, bringing the country’s total to six cases in the first two months of the year. The National Institute of Health’s (NIH) Regional Reference Laboratory confirmed the case in its latest report.

Dr. Sajid Shaikh from the rural health center told the media that the suspected case was brought to him on January 11. According to him, both legs of six -month -old Rizwan, son of Ali Dino Chandio, seemed to be affected by the virus.
