Authorities have arrested four main suspects in connection with the abduction and brutal murder of three-year-old Muqada in Upper Ghalju in a case that has shocked the local community.

The tragic incident came to light on November 19 when Abdul Qayyum, the victim’s uncle, reported his three-year-old niece missing to Ghalju police station. Following the initial report, a formal case was registered under Section 364A/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code after completing the preliminary legal procedures.

During the investigation, the body of the young girl was recovered from a remote hilly area in Upper Ghalju. Considering the sensitive and serious nature of the crime, a special Joint Investigation Team (JIT) was formed under the direct supervision of Orakzai DPO Shaukat Ali. The team, consisting of investigative, technical and intelligence officers, used modern scientific methods to gather critical evidence.

Investigations revealed that the main suspect, Zena Gul, had conspired with her accomplice Ihsan to abduct the girl, while Fazal Rehman, alias Roman, was bribed to help in the crime.
