Smokey Robinson just got a lawyer on board to help him fight the sexual accusations against him.

On May 6, four anonymous former householders of the iconic musician who passed the alias Jane Doe accused him of “repeatedly” raping and assaulting them during their tenure of working for him.

Attorney Christopher Frost representing To be with you Singer, issued a statement to PEOPLE Magazine that considers the accusations as “an ugly method of trying to extract money from an 85 -year -old American icon.”

He also said that his team would “address the many aspects of the complaint that defying credibility as well as questions relating to alleged timelines, disagreements and relationships between the plaintiffs and others.”

Frost, who also represents Robinson’s wife, Frances, said the producer will “answer in his own words” in time and will soon submit a legal reaction in court.

“We ask everyone who follows this case of reserving judgment when the evidence emerges and all the actual facts in the case unfold,” Frost said further.

“We will ask the court to reject the trial. We will also ask the court to tackle it in their statements to the press on Mr. Robinson, the plaintiffs’ lawyers have reached beyond the boundaries of freedoms that even lawyers are typically allowed in this context,” he concluded.

This comes after Smokey Robinson, told Daily Mail On May 7, via a phone call, he was left “horrified” by the abominable accusations against him.

For the unknown, four Jane accused on May 6 that he accused him of sexual battery, rape, assault, genitalia and false prison, over the course of 20 years, with their lawyer, John Harris and said:

“Obviously, no amount of money can compensate these women for what Mr. Robinson has implemented them. [But the $50 million is warranted] Based on the seriousness of Mr. Robinson’s contemptible and reprehensible wrongdoing. “
