Snow melts trigger the stream flood in chitral

A high-level flood in Ghot Gol-Stream in the Morkho area of ​​Upper Chitral forced the evacuation of local residents into safer places, while heavy flooding near Drosh caused Peshawar-Chitral Road for all types of traffic, officials said Wednesday.

The flood was triggered by the melting of snow on the surrounding mountains. Local administrative officials said the strong flooding water caused significant damage to crops and several connection paths near the power. However, there were no losses due to timely evacuation measures.

In Kaldam Shahingar near Drosh closed tongue floods of Peshawar-Chitral Road for all types of traffic.
