Ava Labs, the largest developer company behind Avalanche Blockchain, shared on Wednesday that it had appointed Arielle Pennington as their senior vice president of growth.
The news comes as Avalanche pushes a wave of institutional adoption, including major tokenization projects, such as Skybridge’s hedge fund of $ 300 million on Avax, and the rising assets in the real world demand.
Before Ava Labs, Pennington was the leader of communication at the Solana Foundation since April 2023, where she helped control the ecosystem’s narrative out of its dark days after the fall of the collapse of FTX, to a period of rapid expansion with the network that reached massive user engagement and cultural hype.
During this time, the network’s native token rose more than 2,500% from its Post-TTX low, which brought flowering Memecoin trends on Solana and a large number of new active addresses joining the network.
At Ava Labs, Pennington will focus on shaping the avalanche tale and working on the growth efforts of the ecosystem, including products that focus on the real world’s tokenization and stablecoin infrastructure as well as consumer use.
“I couldn’t be more excited to participate in AVA laboratories at this moment,” Pennington said. “Avalanche has always been ahead of the curve – it was the first blockchain to put institutions in its core, and now we see that the vision comes to life … My goal is to take that energy, reinforce it and help make avalanche the place where builders, institutions and everyday users all connect.”
