A new firmware update for PlayStation 5 has been released, adding more system improvements.
This latest patch is available in a 1.3 GB and is one of the more significant updates since the console’s successor, PS5 Pro, was launched.
As Patch notes details, it is mainly aimed at the system’s communication functions and makes it easier for users to see activity details that are now shown on maps.
Support for Unicode 16.0 emojier has also been added to messages along with new parental controls for communication and user-generated content, which is now standard to ‘limit’ when they change levels to late teens or older people.
Like previous updates, this patch sees some of the usual software services and stability improvements to the system, messaging and general ease of use.

- When you set the parental controllers’ restriction level to Late teens or olderAt Communication and user -generated content will now default to Limit. If you have previously set the level to Late teens or olderYour previous settings will not be affected and it will be shown as Customize.

- We have improved the messages and usability on some screens.
Last week, it was reported that PS5 is still dominating in console sales, which outsourced the PS4 in the US as well as the Xbox Series X and the Xbox series, which are currently falling behind the Xbox One with a signal margin.
