- Sony has the trademark name ‘1000X the Collexion’
- The trademark was filed at the end of June in both Japan and Canada
- The list also notes’ portable audio players; Radios; speakers; amplifiers’
Sony has submitted a trademark of the name ‘1000X the Collexion’ and if the company thinks I buy ‘Collexion 1000X’ headphones after all these years, it may think again.
Why? First, after years of getting our heads around the seemingly random selection of numbers and letters that include Sony’s flagship 1000x range (over-ears start with an ‘wh-‘ and end with ‘M4, M5 or M6’; earplugs start with ‘WF-‘ and end in the same way, except we’re only up to ‘M5’ there), I think And we Don’t you want you To simplify the naming of the best Sony headphones now, thank you very much.
What was my second reason? I find it impossible to say the word ‘collexion’ without affecting a problematic French accent as something from the familiar and much of its time 1980s British comedy ‘Allo’ Allo! – and if you need a third, The non-word ‘Collexion’ also reminds me of young people’s council centers called Connexions in the UK (although these were admittedly closed in 2012).
But Sony is gone and done it. From the end of June, in both Canada and Japan, the trademark name ‘1000X Collexion’ officially exists for Sony. And in spite of any fooling that fills that this was a brainstorming session that everyone should have slept on before we made any big decisions, we all know about it now, thanks to The Walkman -Blog.
I shouldn’t make this just About Sony. No, there are plenty of headphones and earplugs Monikers out there that make me feel like I’m writing a WiFi password every time i naming the them-see technique EAH-AZ100, Denon AH-C840NCW, Panasonic RP-TCM225 and Audio-Technica ATH-SQ1TW (all ears) to starter-how you With you want to be with you want to be with you want to join with you will join with you want to join you with you want to join with you want to join you will join you with you want to join your pressure. Now imagine discussing what products to go into our respective earplugs that buy guides, and welcome to my life …
1000X The Collexion: It’s not just earplugs and headphones
Looking for Sony maybe just avoiding WH-1000XM4 versus WH-1000XM5 versus WH-1000XM6 confusion here? It is a valid point-self-check also check our explanatory on the three models-the latest XM6 still does not seem to overturn the two times-built XM4s from their perch as our recommended purchases for most people.
Or maybe the Sony WF-1000XM5 has been ordered one too many times in mistakes, by buyers looking for over-ears who ultimately received in-ears? Possibly, but more is going on here.
The published description of the Sony’s 1000X collection contains a list of products that may become part of it. The list reads: “headphones; earphones; portable audio players; radios; speakers; amplifiers; tv -recipients; telecommunications machines and appliances”.
The eager eye will notice the inclusion of portable audio players there and here is an idea I can get on the back. The original Sony Walkman arrived the same year I did (I don’t tell you the exact year) and it has a special place in my heart. A walkman of 1000X may well work for me.
Throw your minds back to Sony’s April 2024 release Ult rack (invoiced as the Bass-Responses setting), including Ult Wear headphones, several Ult Field Bluetooth speakers and an ultimate Tower larger speaker Beast. These names were all the trademark ahead of the Ult fire release, so it is very possible that a full number of audio products are in the cards.
Of course, Sony (just maybe) can plan some kind of special edition box set with 1000X Collexion headphones and/or earplugs as it tries to finally send the five-year-old WH-1000XM4 to the big concert in the sky-Fordi the excellent WF-1000XM4 has already gone that way. Probably not, but it is not impossible.
As always, when we know more, you should too.
