- PlayStation Plus users are now receiving compensation after last month’s PSN stream interruption
- After the nearly 24-hour power outage, Sony promised another five days with PS Plus to members
- Members should now see the compensation added to their PlayStation accounts
PlayStation Plus subscribers officially receive compensation after the PlayStation network’s power outage last month.
In early February, PSN experienced an almost 24-hour power outage, which meant PlayStation users were unable to play games online during this time.
After the problem was solved, Sony confirmed that this was an “operational problem” with network services. It also announced that all PlayStation Plus members who were affected would automatically receive another five -day service for free as compensation, although it did not say when this should be issued at that time.
However, according to Push Square, the compensation officially rolls out from March 4th.
The publication found that the five days of service have now been added to the expiry date of its last PS Plus Premium payment, which means that other users should now be able to see the same thing in their own accounts.
To check if you have received the free compensation, you must log in to the PS store and navigate to the ‘Subscription Management’ tab. There you will be able to see your next payment date and if the date reads five days after your latest transaction, the compensation is added.
PS Plus -lineup for March 2025 has already been announced and includes Sonic colors: Ultimate. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collectionas well as one of the biggest role -playing games (RPG) of 2024, Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Members will be able to claim these games that start today until 31 March 2025.
