Los Angeles Sparks Forward Cameron Brink called a fan on social media accusing the previous choice of the first round of spending more time “going down red carpets and Schmoozing” than reviving her ACL injury.
Brink, chosen by the sparks with the total # 2 total election in 2024 Wnba Draft, went to social media to call a fan who criticized the former Stanford stand out not to focus on her improvement.

The 23-year-old basketball player has been sidelined since she suffered a torn ACL in her left knee during a June 2024 match against Connecticut Sun.

“She should have been back on the field now, and something tells me that if she puts so much work into rehabilitation as she puts on going down red carpets and Schmoozing, she would be back now,” the tab wrote in a comment that Brink posted on her Instagram stories on Monday.
The self-proclaimed Sparks fan continued to say that Brink made “public appearances without stags, crutches or anything,” shortly after undergoing an operation last season.

Brink answered publicly to the comment.

“I work incredibly hard every day. I would give something to be out on the field right now. Basketball is my passion and everything to me … to say this you are not a real fan.”
She continued, “Thank you to those who understand ACLs can take a year and give me grace. I can’t wait until I get the game again.”

Brink was an average of 8.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks a game before being injured. She was excluded again for Wednesday’s match against Las Vegas Aces.
