Stag yourself, Four TV Stick -Fans – Amazon can make a huge, risky software change later in the year

  • Four TV -sticks can move to a new operating system later in the year
  • Vega OS is already running on some echo -devices
  • Third -party four TVs can stick to Android for now

Amazon makes huge changes to his four TV platform this year in a step that definitely comes to us from “What could go wrong?” Files.

A new report says four TV -Stick devices will be broadcast with a brand new operating system later in the year. The devices are currently running a changed version of Android, but the move will be to Amazon’s own Vega OS.

As a person who fears the inevitable problems that even a minor software or firmware change can cause, I’m not sure this will be a smooth transition with any mistake and incompatibility stamped from day one. And it will also reduce the flexibility of future brand -tv units.
