- Amazon is renewed Invincible In a fifth season
- The highly rated animated show fourth post arrives sometime in 2026
- Matthew Rhys has also joined Prime Video Series’ voting for season 4
Amazon has revealed Invincible has been renewed in a fifth season.
The message made on the adult animated shows social media channels yesterday (July 17) confirms Invincible Season 4 will not be its last post. Given how popular the critically acclaimed Prime Video series is, it’s no big surprise, but it is nonetheless comfortable to hear that Mark Grayson’s story will continue on one of the world’s best streaming services.

Interestingly, Amazon also revealed that the show’s role crew had already ended with recording their lines for its fifth season.
It is so likely that it Invincible Season 5 could be ready to go in 2027 and maintain Prime Video’s newly established plan to release new seasons annually: Invincible Season 2 Part 1 was sent at the end of 2023, Invincible Season 2 Part 2 was launched in early 2025 and its third and last season was released earlier this year. Season 4 is also ready to arrive in 2026, so there is no need to suspect that the show’s fifth installment will not arrive a year after that.
What character can be expressed by Matthew Rhys in Invincible Season 4?
Invincible‘s The latest renewal and completion of voice work on Season 5 were not the only messages made in the above video. Actually, Amazon also revealed that Matthew Rhys (AmericansAt Perry Mason) had joined The Voice Cast to one of the best Prime Video Shows’ fourth chapter.
Understandably, Rhys’ role is kept during wrapping, but that doesn’t mean we can’t guess what character he wants to produce. After all, there are plenty of candidates in the series’ graphic novel names brother who has not yet appeared in his animated adaptation.
So who could Rhys express? The Grand Regent Thragg is an option, but as much as I like Rhys as an actor, I’m not sure he has the graves to play Viltrum Empire’s chief executive. JK Simmons, who plays Omni-Man, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, as Voices Conquest, has proven that actors with deeper voices are best suited to produce Wildtrumites, so I don’t think Rhys is the right fit for Thragg.
If he plays a villain, he may be better to inhibit it as one as a dinosaur-right name David Anderssom is something of a superhuman eco-terrorist and, as his name suggests, a formidable form-changing humanoid reptiles when he is in his dino form. Dinosaur is a dangerous albeit silly character, so Rhys may be the perfect fit to play him.
On the more heroic front, Rhys can be the ideal actor for someone like Space Racer or Tech Jacket. We have briefly seen these superpowered creatures in previous seasons of InvincibleBut none of the characters have expressed a word yet. It is so possible that Rhys have been tapped to speak one of them.
I am assuming that we find out with certainty when Invincible Season 4 is eventually released. In the meantime, read the section below for more coverage of the series’ latest season.
