When subscribing to a StarLink internet package, you usually have to pay for the cost of your new bowl and router. It can be expensive as that technique comes to $ 349 in the United States. Starlink’s offers may seem like a good deal, but there are some warnings to be aware of. First, you only get the kit for free if you commit to a 12-month plan-you have to pay the full number if you choose the company’s month to month “no obligation” plan.
In addition to that, Starlink charges a ‘change fee’ if you change your address, cancel your service, do not pay your bill on time, try to transfer your service to another, or cancel your service during the 30-day test but do not return your set. If one of these scenarios occurs, you will be charged the full $ 349 for the bowl and the router, even if this number is pro-classified based on how far through your 12-month commitment you are.
This means that you will have to think carefully about whether this opportunity is right for you.
Still, if it is, it can save you a pile of cash on the hardware you need for Starlink service. Presumably, Starlink has decided that lowering the cost of entry is worth it to increase the subscriber numbers – and that’s good news if you already considered signing up.
