Teddi Mellencamp only got his brand new tattoo after getting “medically cleared” for it.
The Star of Reality, 43, discussed his new tattoo with Erika Jayne, 53, in a recent episode of Diamonds in the rough Podcast.
“So I always wanted this tattoo and I’ve never got it,” said Mellencamp, who is fighting for cancer of phase 4 and five tumors removed from her lungs and brain.
Before she could continue, Jayne approached any growing concern about the threats a tattoo can pose to her body.
“Before everyone has a full mental break, she was allowed. She was medically cleared to get the tattoo, so don’t get crazy,” Jayne chimed in.
Mellencamp then completed her statement when she presumably revealed her new ink on her forearm, “my whole family and I have spoken on all these holidays about wanting this little knife.”
“I will, when I am annoyed, just be able to go. And then anyone knows me that we are done with this conversation. We are not going, we are no longer going,” she continued.
“Plus,” she added, “we had a song that came with it and we would go, ‘I think I like this little knife,’ she joked and played off the lyrics to Little life by singer Cordelia and calls it “the most disgusting song ever.”
“Well, know what? We’ve now taken it to the little knife,” joked mellencamp.
This new tattoo comes only a week after she got matching tattoos with her earlier Real housewives of Beverly Hills Castmate Richards, 56.
The former comrades shared that they had had their tattoos performed at Jennifer Turner Leipart’s birthday party in an Instagram post on April 10.
“We love our new tattoos! A perfect match! Yolo,” Richards wrote a black-and-white photo of his arm with mellencamp and leiparts.
The mother of three first announced on Instagram in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with phase II melanoma. In February this year, she learned that she had several brain tumors. Since then, she has kept her fans updated on her cancer match.
