Former NBA player Dell Curry believes his son has the ability to play in the NBA “far into the 40s.”

“I think it will be his decision when to go away,” Dell told Curry to PFSN. “Many guys play until the teams or league tell you, ‘We can’t use your services anymore.’ I think he could be far into his 40s because he can shoot the ball and demand that you have to protect him.

How Steph Curry mastered the flow state

Curry has set several NBA posts during his great career and is still the league’s 3-point leader. His long -range shooting ability has had a noticeable effect on the game.

Curry hopes to end his professional basketball career in San Francisco with Warriors, the only NBA franchise he has ever played for. His father quoted the two-time league MVP’s competitive character as he projected “several” several years of playing at a high level.

“He still has the competitive juices – it’s far from leaving him,” Dell Curry said. “He’s played, the will, so it’s up to him. Of course he’s 37, so we don’t speak six or eight years, but he has many years back on this ability to play in the league.”

Warriors advanced to the Western Conference Finals last month. Curry’s contract with Warriors expires after the 2025-26 season.
