Storage of water reservoir rises to 504,000 hectares of feet

Islamabad:

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) released 86,300 CUSSCS water from different edge stations with influx of 110,800 CUSSCS on Thursday, as the total useful water storage in Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma rose to 504,000 Acres feet.

According to the data released by IRSA, the water level in Indus at Tarbela Dam was 1,411.27 feet, which was 9.27 feet higher than dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam were registered as 31,500 CUSERCs and 25,000 CUSERCs respectively.

The level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,097.50 feet, which was 47.50 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The influx and outflow of water was registered to 35,000 CUSERCS and 17,000 CUSSCS respectively. (With input from app)
