A powerful earthquake of 6.1-size order hit northern Nepal, near Kathmandu, on Friday, the country’s national earthquake monitoring and research center have said.
The earthquake hit around Bhairab Kunda from the Sindhupalchok district in Nepal.
The German Research Center for Geons in the 5.6 earthquake placed at 5.6 and depth of 10 km (6.21 miles).
There were no immediate reports of damage or damage from the earthquake.
“It shook us from our sleep vigorously,” Ganesh Nepali told a senior official in the Sindhupal Shock district, to Reuters. “We rushed out of home. People have now returned to homes. We have not received any report of injuries or injuries so far.”
