– The main herd is ready to return
– Plot information is held firmly during wrapping
– Hope for more incredible guest star performance
The study Season 2 was officially renewed on Apple TV+ in May-Turn Season 1 of the self-described ‘Workplace Comedy’ was even done. No surprise given The study Had 100% on the rotten tomatoes from critics before the show was even released (now, an still incredibly 93%).
And it made it easy on our Best Apple TV+ Shows List thanks to its fun, satirical look at the film industry with a star-studded role crew to start. So as Matt Remick and the team in Continental Studios are ready to return to another series, we are more than ready to tighten for more. And I’m pretty hopeful that it will have a similar incredible list of guest stars and comoser like Season 1.
Here’s all we know about The study Season 2 on Apple TV+ from release date prediction, trailer, expected role crew, plot rumors and more.
Potential spoilers follow for The study Season 1.
Study Season 2 Release Date Predication
The study Season 2 was officially renewed on May 6th. In an Instagram post of Apple TV, Seth, Ike and Chase Sui, discussing the return of the show with their ‘winning formula’, or as Seth puts it: “A structure that we 100% know works, so we will do it again and again”.
And according to a post about Film & Television Industry Alliance, Season 2 is already in pre -production with a possible film recording date on December 3rd. For season 1, they filmed in March 2024 and the show started streaming a year later. So I will say for my The study Season 2 Release Date Prediction We Watch on the End of 2026.
Studio Season 2 Trailer: Is there one?
There is no The study Season 2 Trailer yet and I don’t expect us to see one before at the end of 2026. Season 1 -trailer fell just a few weeks before the show fell on Apple TV+.
So given what I’ve already mentioned about a potential release date, it’s for a while yet. I will be sure to update here as soon as you fall.
Study’s Season 2 predicted Role herd

Full spoilers follow for The study Season 1.
In view of how The study Season 1 ended, I would predict that all the most important role herds return as follows:
- Seth Rogen as Matt Remick
- Catherine O’Hara as Patty Leigh
- IKE Barinholtz as Sal Saperstein
- Chase Sui wonders as quinn hackett
- Kathryn Hahn as Maya Mason
The study quickly became known for its incredible list of guest stars and comedies that appeared throughout season 1 .. These included Bryan Cranston, Zoƫ Kravitz, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Ben Stiller and so Many more.
In fact, I can’t list them all because we wanted to be here all day, but I’m sure more seriously prominent names will appear in season 2. In conversation with Deadline, Co-Creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg may have run out of people to ask. Rogen said, “We have called all our favors to many, many years ago. We got everyone who were only willing to do these things because we were friends with them.”
And Goldberg added: “And it was by far the hardest part of the show and delivered these comoser. It was exhausting. Every single day at lunch during pre -production we had to go and make a phone call with another celebrity of some nature or the filmmaker. And it really killed”.
Study’s season 2 potential plot synopsis and rumors

Larger spoilers follow for Slow horses Seasons 1 to 4.
The study Season 2 is in pre -production and I am sure the plot will be held under wrapping until it is available to stream on Apple TV+. But Goldberg told the deadline that there is an episode that is back from Season 1: “We actually have on script, which I assume will be in Season 2, it’s done, called ‘Test Screening’. We worked on it for months because it required a very specific actor and we got almost that actor, but then they were too busy, so we had to go ahead.”
We also know from the Season 1 final that Continental Studios was on a bit of a curse with Amazon trying to buy them out and Matt Pitching at Cinemacon to stop sales (and hopefully save their jobs).
And when the cinema is done, it seems to be the opportunity for even bigger. In a speech with direct, Peter Huyck said, “I think one thing we will do is the big international film festival. It would be a dream to make an episode set there”.
Plus, considering that the Kool-Aid movie was a big part of Season 1, we might be able to find out if all the hard work is finally paid off and hopefully we actually get to see it.
Fortunately, from the success of Season 1, the stories now seem to come to them: “This show has legs. It just continues to write themselves. Things continue to happen. We are in an industry that is still developing us. Before we sat with studio heads and heads of marketing to get their input to help us. Now people right up to us telling us.
And i’m sure The study Season 2 will be full of these film -centered stories designed beautifully for Apple TV+ in the way Rogen and Goldberg know how.
Will the study get more seasons on Apple TV+?

Given The study Season 2 still welcomes its own renewal status, it is unlikely that we will soon hear about more seasons. Season 2 received its renewal before season 1 wrapped, so if I had to predict when we would hear, I would say when the show is back for streaming on Apple TV+. However, I want to be sure to update here about and when news arrives.
