Bitcoin the leading cryptocurrency by market capitalization, experienced a brief lightning strike at 7:34 UTC on Hyperliquid, which dropped from $83,307 to $80,255 within a minute only to return just as quickly to $83,000.
During that span, Hyperliquid saw five accounts liquidated, each worth $10 million, with the largest single liquidation amounting to $36.78 million, according to data shared by BlockPulse.
On other centralized platforms, the decline was notably less severe, with lows remaining well above $81,000.
