Rollins’ music hit, and the fans at Metlife Stadium exploded. Paul Heyman held the money in the bank shortage, and Rollins was in a stag and crutch seemingly signaling that he was still injured from his Saturday night’s main event accident against La Knight. He hobby on the ramp and then turned around, only to throw his crutches down and take off his stag.
He rushed down to the ring with the briefcase, hit Punk a few times and caught his opportunity. Rollins hit Stomp on punk and attached him to win the championship.
Rollins pulled off summer’s Heist.
He also buried an absolutely classic match between punk and Gunther. They all pulled out on Saturday night into the main event in the first night of SummerSlam.
It was a dog fight in the beginning. The self-proclaimed “Best in the World” hoped to leave the Garden State with the World Cup in Tongue Weight, while Gunther once again tried to prove that he is the best of this generation of WWE superstars.

The two competitors were blowing to chop. Gunther took a slow but brutal approach to punk throughout the match. He put him in team after troll after attitude as he wore the veteran WWE superstar.
As the match went on, Gunther hit Punk with all the clothes lines he could handle. Punk tried to hit Gunther with a go to sleep, but Gunther got out of it. Still, Punk would not disappear. The punk’s resilience soon became a major factor in the fight as he continued to kick out of Powerbombs and Dropkicks in the last stages of the match.
Putting punk away would get harder than Gunther thought. The audience, clearly behind Punk, was waiting for Chicago -natives to get back on their feet. Gunther met him with a chop and then added more damage to the outside of the ring.
But Gunther decided to take the eye off the ball for a few seconds. While celebrating the Spanish advertising table, Punk stumbled him up. When Gunther came back up his feet, fans got to see something they’ve never seen before – Gunther was busted open.
Punk took advantage of for a moment, but Gunther put him in a sleeping team. Punk fought out of it and hit go asleep, not even, but twice in a row.
