Ledisi, a Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, sang “Lift Every Voice and Sing” as part of the Super Bowl Lix’s first name festivities.
The native in New Orleans song the song, also known as Black National Anthem, at Caesar’s Superdome, when fans expected the kickoff to the game between Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

She won a Grammy for best traditional R&B performance for the song “Something for you.”
Jon Batiste performed National Anthem, and Lauren Daigle performed “America the Beautiful.”
The execution of Black National Anthem has been a source of fans for fans since NFL decided to insert the song before the Super Bowl to end the 2020 season. Fans were unhappy with it again and got their voices heard on social media.
