However, a former NFL Great has no problems with Chiefs’ success, knowing how difficult it is to do what chiefs have done.

Clay Matthews, who won a Super Bowl, says it’s easier for him, unlike the average fan, to appreciate Chiefs’ greatness rather than hate it.
“I don’t think people understand how difficult it is. Unlike maybe in some other sports where there is no wage state upstairs,” Matthews told Pakinomist digital in a recent conversation. “And for [Tom] Brady to do it so long and now [Patrick] Mahomes to do so within its first seven years is remarkable.
“So I look at it as just enjoy the show and I hope everyone is.”
Matthews knows how difficult it really is and how grateful the bosses should be, considering that fans in the early 2010s thought that Aaron Rodgers-led packages would be the next big dynasty. Matthews called Rodgers “without a doubt the greatest talent” in the quarterback position, but even they couldn’t get over the hump more than once.

“We were only able to make a super bowl. … so I know first hand how hard it is to get back to the Super Bowl. So for him to be able to do this year and year, it’s almost like a cheat code, but The reality is that it takes so much more than just us at home and says it’s unfair, ”added Matthews.

“I grew up in Kobe [Bryant] Era, the Lakers era where they won championships, and I’m sure everyone hated. When Yankees won, I hated them because I was a Dodgers fan, “The Natives of Southern California continued.” So while I was not involved in professional athletics, it is much easier to hate on the couch as a fan.
“Being a former player and, you know, football is also just such a difficult sport. I mean, the physicalness of it, the slide war, all that goes into it to get to this point right now, it’s really remarkable .
