- New Linux -leakage may have revealed Intel Battlemage GPUs
- The recent Linux -Patch had three coding numbers
- If it is true, this can challenge Nvidias 5000 -Serie GPUs
Intel’s upcoming arc -bow -battle -graphics cards have received plenty of media uprising through rumors, reports and recently an official disclosure From Intel himself. But a recent Linux leakage has revealed several new cards that may pose a threat to NVIDIA’s RTX 5000 series.
According to Tomasz GawrońskiA game hardware enthusiast on X, the latest Linux patch may have revealed at least three new arch -slag field cards, which could be the expected powerful variants. The listing itself shows three coding numbers, with the patch notes that it will “add 3 new IDs to BMG.” Gawroński interpreted it as Intel and added three new battlemage IIDs in this patch.
Although there has been nothing concrete in the leaked information that finds that these cards are models with higher ends, if they are, it could definitely turn the market upside down. Intel’s graphics card has been competitive since the tech giant first entered the market, with B580 and B570 models evidence as such. If Intel were to launch middle-class and high-end cards with the same mindset, this could strike a critical blow to AMD and especially Nvidia.
Of course, it is if these code numbers turn out to be something in the long run. This can all be meaningless in the end, which is why it is important to take this leak with a healthy pinch of salt.
How this could turn the tables on nvidia
Nvidia’s RTX 5000 series -graphics card managed to succumb to the expected trend of prices that dramatically increase each new generation. For example, the flagship RTX 5090 is only a few or so hundred over the RTX 4090s launch day MSRP, and RTX 5070 is one third of 4090’s price While almost matches its performance with the use of DLSS.
But even if the bow battle -by -cards do not match, there are plenty of players looking for maps that better fit their more cost -effective PC buildings. We already know that the majority of players are still 1080p, with only part of 1440p as their most important monitor resolution.
First, I really hope this is the direction of Team Blue. As I have been saying for quite a long time now, Team Green and Team Red need a fire lit under their backside in terms of offering real budget graphics cards. And this brand is clearly the threat of real competition.
