Taraji P. Henson cleared the air of his rumored rift with Oprah Winfrey again.
In a recent chat about Breakfast clubThe Hidden figures Actress opened up to her relationship with the media personality.
Speculations about the excitement began only after Henson, who played Shug Avery in 2023 musical film The color purplewhich was produced by Winfrey, talked about wage research for black women in Hollywood.
The 53-year-old actress revealed that there is no truth in the rumors of the celebration and believed that they were intended to hurt the film’s success.
“When have you ever seen me pull another woman, especially a black woman? I’m 10 toes down for us,” she said. “I think it was just a campaign so this black movie wouldn’t do well.”
The empire Alun also shared insight into her and Winfrey’s strong ties as they usually exchange text messages.
“I have such love and love for her. She just texted me the other day and praises me for a well done job in straw,” Henson shared.
“It was all fictional to try to draw a wedge between us. I won’t let them do it,” she added.
